Flux Field

Skylit's proprietary fair-value line, with an inner, an outer and an optional extreme band.

Flux Field is Skylit's proprietary fair-value line, with an inner band, an outer band and an optional extreme band around it.

Candles holding above the centre line mean aggressive buyers are in control. A tag of the outer band means price is stretched, which often reads as a mean-reversion spot. Reclaiming or losing the centre line or the inner band frames trend entries and exits.

Adding the indicator

Open the chart settings panel and use the Add button in the Indicators section. Flux Field sits in the Overlay group. One instance per chart pane.

Reading notes

  • It starts at the open. Before the session opens, or before a ticker has its first point of the day, the line stays empty.
  • ES and NQ use SPY and QQQ. On ES/MES and NQ/MNQ the line is SPY's or QQQ's Flux Field scaled onto the future's price, labelled SPY Flux Field or QQQ Flux Field, regular hours only.
  • Also on the API and MCP. The same series is available from GET /v1/underlying/{ticker}/flux-field and the flux_field tool in the MCP tool catalog.
