The Retail Revolution · Skylit v3
The Retail
Revolution.
A manifesto for everyone who was never handed the map.
I don't come from pedigree. No Ivy League, no finance family, no Wall Street uncle who taught me to invest at twelve. What I had was a scoreboard: Gunbound, MapleStory, League, Fortnite. The one place where it didn't matter where you came from. If you were good, you were good.
I grew up where money decided everything: whether the lights stayed on, whether the water ran, whether the house was calm or at war. We conserved electricity. Some nights we lived in the dark. I'd get maybe an hour to play every few days while other kids grinded ten. So I became obsessed with one thing. Compression. How do you reach the top level on a fraction of the resources? You find the ceiling, then work backwards to it.
I brought that obsession to the market. And the market humbled me.
I started with penny stocks in the pre-COVID run, when everything went straight up and everyone on the timeline looked like a god you could follow. Then September and October hit. Back-to-back corrections that wiped my portfolio to zero. I took out my life savings. I took out loans. I kept going. And somewhere in that hole I learned the thing nobody selling you a Discord will admit:
You cannot trust a single result you see online.
Here's why. Every strategy works. In exactly one market regime. Buy the 9 EMA dip and you'll look like a genius the whole time the market trends. The day it starts to chop, it takes everything back. So traders do the natural thing: they jump. Strategy to strategy, guru to guru, always one regime behind, always blaming themselves. The truth almost nobody says out loud is that a strategy was never supposed to be fixed. It has to be fluid, alive to the regime you're actually in.
But by the time most people learn that, the damage is already done. The hole is too deep. And from there it was never really the strategy failing them. It was the emotion. Fear sizes your position. Revenge picks your entry. Hope holds your loser. The market becomes the most efficient machine ever built for moving money from the people trying to change their lives to the people who already have the upper hand.
I traded through that for ten years. I also spent my career in enterprise software, a world where reliability is the entire job, where "it usually works" gets you fired. Then I'd close my laptop and open trading tools that were outdated, fragmented, unstable, and honestly kind of insulting. The people with the real edge had teams, data, and discipline. Retail had recycled indicators and hype. Same arena. Completely different weapons.
So I started building the thing I wished existed. Not another indicator. Institutional-grade intelligence, derived from scratch, and handed to the side that never gets it. A way to see the market for what it is, and a way to act on it with zero emotion.
That's what agentic trading actually means.
An agent doesn't feel the tick. It doesn't get greedy at the top or freeze at the bottom. It reads a setup for what it is, not for how your night went. It learns. Every outcome feeds back and sharpens the next call. It adapts to the regime instead of praying the regime holds still. And it pulls signal from an ocean of noise that no human, no matter how many screens, could ever watch at once.
And here's the part I care about most, because I've been lied to by enough backtests to last a lifetime: our agents can't flatter you. Nothing goes live until it survives the gates: real execution, honest results, a standard that reports its own misses instead of selling you a dream. No green report, no live badge. If an edge hasn't earned trust, it doesn't get yours.
This is the revolution, and it's already underway. Retail got access. Anyone can trade now. Retail got information. Charts and flow for everyone. But access without an edge just loses money faster, and information without synthesis is only more noise. The next decade doesn't belong to whoever has the most data. It belongs to the people operating validated agents. An edge proven before it's ever trusted.
I've been the underdog my whole life, so let me tell you what I know about underdogs: when they survive long enough, study hard enough, and finally get the right tools, they become dangerous. Retail has been the underdog for far too long. I've decided to go all in on them.
Everyone deserves a real shot at compounding wealth. Everyone deserves to change the trajectory of their bloodline, not just the ones born holding the map. That's the entire reason Skylit exists.
Find the edge. Share the edge. Prove the underdog can win.
That's the mission. And we're just getting started.
