Dark Pool
Horizontal lines at the prices of the largest off-exchange prints over a lookback window, each labelled with its size and date.
Dark Pool draws a line at the price of each of the largest off-exchange prints for the symbol, over the window you choose. These are single block trades that printed away from the lit exchanges. Big institutional size changing hands at one price tends to make that price worth watching, and some traders treat those lines as levels.
Each line is labelled with the print's dollar size and date, like DP $850K · 4/29. The date matters: two of the top prints often sit at nearby prices, and the date tells you which session each one came from.

Settings
| Setting | Options | What it controls |
|---|---|---|
| Top N | 1, 2, 3 (default), 5, 10 | How many of the largest prints get a line. |
| Lookback | 10d, 15d, 20d, 30d, 45d (default), 90d, 180d | How far back to search for those prints. |
| Label | Always (default), On hover | Always keeps every line's title and price-axis badge drawn. On hover keeps the lines clean and reveals the label of the line nearest your crosshair. On touch, press and drag to reveal one. |
Reading notes
- The prints are ranked by dollar size, price times shares, and each line sits at the print's exact price, not a rounded bin.
- Futures and index charts borrow from their ETF. These products have no off-exchange prints of their own, so the lines come from the matching ETF and are mapped onto your chart's prices: ES and SPX from SPY, NQ and NDX from QQQ, YM from DIA, RTY from IWM, GC from GLD, SI from SLV. The label names the source, like
DP SPY $2.20B · 5/15. - Replay respects the date. Scrub back to a session and the window ends on that day, so you never see a print from after the day you're replaying.
- A line is a past trade, not a promise. It tells you where size printed. Whether price respects that level again is for the tape to decide.
